Results showed that a majority of people with RA say they want to be more active and not feel limited by their condition and that 4 in 10 want to give back through volunteering or public service to prove they are not limited by their RA.

These findings are based on an online survey conducted by Yankelovich, Inc. dba, The Futures Company, between July 29 and August 3, 2009 among a sample of 501 men and women who have been diagnosed with RA.
